Many times we get donations in the name of others and we would like to recognize those people that find it important to help support our seniors.

I had the pleasur of dog sitting for her on a few occasions. She was the sweetest dog I ever met. My cat used to peak through the fence at Torrah as we are neighbors."

SUPER DOGS at the Budweiser Event Center
The Event
Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth to say "Hello" and love on our available dogs. It was great to see the children light up when they got to pet Jack and Jack would give them a big smooch.
Also, thank you for your donations that will go to helping take care of the senior dogs that we love. It was great hearing your own stories of your life with a senior dog. We got some great leads for new volunteers and adoptees and could not do it without you.
Thank you to Debra Potts and VCA Animal Hospital for inviting us to this great event. It is always such a pleasure working with you and keeping the community connected. Rescue and animal care is a combined effort.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to get their pics with Santa. We had a great time and met some amazing new friends, both 2 and four legged.
We raised over $300 to help our dogs with vet care, medication, and finding their furever home.
We also offered a giving tree that all of our fosters received gift from you. This included new beds, toys, treats, food, collars, leashes, ect.
All proceeds benefit senior dogs, including much needed vet care and quality food to keep them healthy and giving them a chance to fully enjoy their retirement years.

Dog Wash Fundraiser, Saturday, August 4th -- It was a great success!
Thank you so much for participating in our fundraising dog wash that took place on Saturday, 8/4/12 from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM. For a mere $10 donation, we washed your dog. This was not only a bargain, but it's also a win-win situation. An unheard of 100% of the proceeds went to benefit Izzy's Place Dog Rescue.
The dog wash was held at Dogs Bath and Beyond, located at 1221 W. Eisenhower Bllvd., Loveland.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AT OUR FIRST ANNUAL YARD SALE!
We wish to thank all of our volunteers and supporters from the community for coming out and helping us make our first annual yard sale a smashing success! We were able to raise much needed money to help us defray our veterinary bills as we take care of our foster senior pups. Not only were we able to raise funds, we were also able to spread the word on what Izzy's Place Dog Rescue is all about.

Thank you for purchasing jewelry on our fundraiser on July 3rd!
Three Scoops of Vanilla (TSV) held an online jewelry sale on Tuesday, July 3rd, and 25% of the total day's proceeds will be donated to Izzy's Place Dog Rescue once all official receipts are counted. TSV works with various non-profit animal welfare groups from around the nation and is a great supporter of many local rescue groups.

Sweet Lizzie came all the way from TX & when we learned she needed two life-saving surgeries we knew we had to find a way.
Thanks to Lisa & Teresa, owners of Hank's Pet Food Market in Loveland, we were able to raise enough money her first surgery. They hosted a Hot Dog and Brat party and donated all proceeds to Lizzie and also Jack(a rescued Boston Terrier who has since been adopted). Both needed immediate treatment.
And wait! there's more....Lisa & Teresa are also offering to match up to $500 in donations for Lizzie's second surgery. If you'd like to be included in this challenge you can donate via paypal online or drop off a check or cash at Hank's. Lizzie's currently recovering nicely from her first surgery and the second will follow in about a month, after the vet gives the OK.
We are so thankful for all of the incredible support from Hank's and their thoughtful customers as well!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event at Doggie Dips & Chips a success! Not only did we raise awareness about dog rescue, but we also met several who would like to volunteer with us. And there are a possible 3-4 potential adoptions as a result. We have a thorough application process so we never adopt on the spot but we did receive applications and set up home visits for a few foster dogs.
We raised over $100 today! That's awesome and will go toward vet care for our incoming senior dogs. Allen's Taste Of Heaven Hot Dog Cart was there too and will be donating a % of the proceeds to IP.

Thank you to Camp Bow Wow for your Bark-B-Q fundraiser on 6/24!
Many thanks to the folks at Camp Bow Wow in Fort Collins for hosting their first bar-b-q fundraiser for Izzy's Place. While the extreme heat may have kept some people away, we feel it was a success. Many of our foster dogs were there and we met some wonderful people. We look forward to doing this again next year!
